FARMERS MARKET
How you can help:
Join us to table at the Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 8:30pm and on Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm. We will have a booth/table set up in Central Park, and we need volunteers to staff the table.
What you would be doing:
Tabling at the Farmers Market entails being at the Farmers Market for a few hours on either Wednesday or Saturday and being a resource for anyone who approaches the table. You will answer questions and provide more information to people who are interested. You will also collect donations and help run the Well Game!
How you can sign up:
Contact the 1000 Wells Project at davis1000wells@gmail.com with the dates and times you would like to volunteer, and we will contact you with more information.
BENEFIT DINNERS
Lead a benefit dinner/informational meeting about the 1000 Wells Project in your home or workplace. We believe a benefit dinner is an excellent way to involve your friends and colleagues in something you find important, and we hope that it can be the start of a chain reaction.

Stop by the Farmers Market or on-campus table to talk to one of our volunteers and to pick up an informational packet; ask our knowledgeable volunteers any questions you may have
OR Download the provided informational packet and slideshow (also available on our resource page) and email us at
davis1000wells@gmail.com with any questions you may have
- Step 2: (see more details in the informational packet)
Pick a date for the dinner. Invite your friends, neighbors and co-workers. Provide a food or light refreshments. Show the slideshow and present the facts to your guests. Answer any questions they may have.
- Step 3:
Ask for donations for the 1000 Wells Project. Encourage your guests to host their own benefit dinners.
- Step 4:
Stop by the table at the Farmers Market or on-campus to tell us how it went and to drop off any donations you collected.
