ANNOUNCEMENTS
We need volunteers to make quick announcements in classrooms on campus! We’ll give you a short spiel to memorize, and your job is to make that announcement and rally the interest and support of students for the 1000 Wells Project. You’ll quickly say your bit, hand out fliers/envelopes, and gracefully make your exit!
VISUAL PUBLICITY
If they haven’t heard about the 1000 Wells Project, then we’ll catch their eye! We need volunteers to put up posters all over campus. If you are a freshman, please take a handful of flyers and post them on your doors and windows. If you enjoy art or using a stapler, this job is for you!
TABLING
We want every single student on the UC Davis campus to hear about the 1000 Wells Project. We need volunteers to table on the Quad and catch the interest of students passing by. Your job is first to spread awareness about the need for clean water in Africa, and then to encourage students to make a difference by contributing financially to the 1000 Wells Project!Put on your own event/ fundraiser:
If your club or organization would like to put your own type of fundraiser for the 1000 Wells Project, please feel free to do so. In the past, we have had clubs, fraternities, and other individuals host benefit dinners, poker night fundraisers, and a variety of other events to support this cause. The coordinators of this year’s project welcome anybody with creative ideas and a heart for others to get involved!
